Previous GWGuardian owners find transition seamless and beneficial
Montreal, Quebec, Canada—January 14, 2009—GWAVA today announced success
of the strategic relationship entered into with Vircom in 2008. GWAVA and Vircom
jointly began offering former GWGuardian customers the opportunity of
transferring their maintenance to GWAVA. GWGuardian was sold by The Messaging
Architects. This offer has resulted in more than 100 companies making the
switch. “Even though the GWGuardian market share is small, GWAVA felt it
was important that the GroupWise community continue to be given the choice of

Microsoft SharePoint Integration for GroupWise Unveiled at GWAVACon Las
Vegas
Two new integration options for
Microsoft SharePoint and Novell GroupWise allow organizations to benefit from
tight, server-side integration for their existing Novell technology investments.
EDMONTON, CANADA and SAN JOSE, USA — 14 Jan 2009 — Omni (www.omni-ts.com),

integration options for Novell GroupWise and Microsoft SharePoint at GWAVACon
Las Vegas (January 25-27). The first integration option delivers transparent,
bi-directional, server-side synchronization of GroupWise and SharePoint
appointments, tasks, address books and support issues. End-users can access the
data from the application of their choice. The second option is to embed

GWAVA Provides Credit to Novell BrainShare
Attendees for Airline Change Fees
Credit offered for Novell customers who wish
to attend GWAVACon, the independent Novell technology conference in place of
BrainShare ‘09
San Jose, California—December 19, 2008—GWAVA
today announced that Novell customers that have already purchased airline
tickets to attend BrainShare 2009 will be offered a credit to pay for the
change fee that many airlines charge to change tickets. Those wishing to change
their flights to Las Vegas to attend GWAVACon ,January 25 – 27 2009 will be
given a credit equal to the amount of the change fee charged by the airline.
This credit will apply against the registration fee for attending. With the
recent announcement that Novell will suspend BrainShare in March of 2009,
GWAVACon becomes the largest Novell technology conference in the world.
GWAVACon Las Vegas will be the tenth GWAVACon worldwide, with previous events in
Berlin, Munich, Sydney, Dallas, and San Diego..
GWAVACon is a Novell-specific conference, focused on technical training around
Novell technology, including the recently released GroupWise 8, Novell Teaming,
ZENworks, OES and Linux.
